WELCOME TO HIGHFIELD - THE VIEW IS BEAUTIFUL FROM UP HERE

Highfield wines' first release is from the exceptional 2021 vintage. Our fruit is sourced from the Adelaide Hills, South Australia’s cool-climate wine region.

Our vineyards are at high altitude, an average of 400m above sea level, where grape varieties like chardonnay, pinot gris and sauvignon blanc thrive.

For half a century our family has grown grapes and made wine in McLaren Vale. In recent years we have been experimenting with small parcels of Adelaide Hills fruit, and in 2021 we decided to take those experimentations further and create wines from three select vineyards. 

Our 2021 wines are made from fruit sourced from family vineyards, and moving forward we’re broadening our reach to source further - we'll be working with some exciting fruit parcels from other Adelaide Hills vineyards in 2022.

We love the Adelaide Hills for its freshness and vibrancy. Highfield wines celebrate the natural characteristics of the region’s fruit, creating wines that showcase the aromatic intensity that this cool climate's wines feature.

Our winemaking techniques build texture, balance and structure. These wines are made to be enjoyed with friends, paired with great food and shared around the table.
